WILTSHIRE will be represented at tomorrow's England v Wales international, with Even Swindon School and Derry Hill's Alan Crocker receiving top FA awards at Old Trafford.

Even Swindon, who boast 200 pupils between the ages of seven and 11, have scooped the prestigious national Football Association Charter Standard award in the Primary Development section.

To mark the achievement, teacher and football coach Wayne Smith, together with deputy headmaster Colin Jones, will receive the award tomorrow.

It will be made on the pitch at Old Trafford (Manchester United's ground) during half-time in the World Cup qualifying group match between England and Wales.

The presentation to Smith and Jones will be made by ex-England and West Ham legend Sir Trevor Brooking, the FA's Director of Football Development.

And they will not be the only Wiltshire recipients of prestigious awards from Brooking.

Crocker from Derry Hill Boys FC is one of only two individuals in the country selected for the FA's Charter Standard Coach of the Year.

The Charter Standard was established three years ago and aims to improve standards of coaching and player development with a commitment to child protection and a code of conduct for players and parents.

Since then over 1670 schools and clubs representing more than 15,000 teams and over 200,000 players have achieved FA Charter Standard Club status.
