A PENSIONER is appealing for relatives to come forward with information to help her sick son.
Dorothy Townsend, of Reading, believes she may have family living in the Wroughton area and she desperately wants them to get in touch.
The 75-year-old's son has a progressive illness and is now paraplegic. One of her cousins had a similar condition and eventually died.
Mrs Townsend said: "He and his family lived in Wroughton, and I wonder if any of his family area still in the area and whether they would be able to give me any information which may help my son.
"My cousin's mother and father were Jack and Bess Burns and they had three sons, Danny, Barry and the late Terry.
"My mother, Beatrice, and Bess were sisters, and their name before marriage was Curtis."
