LOLLIPOP ladies in Swindon can be sure they'll be seen in new fluorescent safety jackets.
Swindon's School Crossing Patrollers, as they are officially known, are now sporting their new lightweight uniform.
The tabards were donated by the Dettol Foundation, which was set up by the Swindon-based company Reckitt Benckiser.
Swindon Council contacted the foundation after reading in the Adver about its Reflect and Protect scheme with Covingham Infant School.
Margaret Tester, the council's road safety manager, said: "The new tabards were sorely needed, so the lollipop ladies are absolutely thrilled to have them.
"The old uniforms were uncomfortable, heavy and too big, so these new, lighter designs are just what they wanted."
There are currently 14 full-time lollipop ladies covering 19 sites in the borough.
They have been used in Swindon since 1953.
