MID WILTS YOUTH AND MINOR LEAGUE: FC CHIPPENHAM are through to the first round of the Wiltshire Times and Chippenham News Mid-Wilts Youth and Minor League under 11s cup.

They had the upper hand in the first half of their tie against Trowbridge Wanderers, taking a 2-0 lead at the interval. After the break the Wanderers had the run of playing scoring two but with one reply seeing the game end at 3-2 to Chippenham.

Michael Flavin (2) and David North scored for Chippenham.

Visitors Westbury Youth fought back from 3-0 down against Chippenham Town Youth to level the the game at 3-3. Chippenham dug deep and hit the target twice more to finish 5-3 winners. Jamal Chevolleau (4) and James Pritchard scored for Chippenham.

Under 17s Blue Division

IN a well contested game in difficult conditions AFC Corsham took a first half lead against Salisbury City Juniors with a well taken shot from Natty Auckland.

After the break Corsham took a two goal advantage through Ben Pemberton before Salisbury hit back to make it 2-1. Corsham kept pushing and a late goal from Johnny Moriatry secured their victory at 3-1.

Under 16s Blue Division

DEVIZES Town Youth dominated their home game against FC Chippenham, running out 10-0 winners with goals from Ricky Franklin, Luke Hopper, Daniel Sloan, Nick Easton, Tom Slater (3), Pat Preece (2) and Ashley Grover.

Under 16s Red Division

A GOOD natured match between home side Marlborough Town and Amesbury Juniors saw the visitors go in 2-0 up at the break.

The new Marlborough team battled hard in the second half, with goals from Sam Brown and Joe Brace but they could not contain Amesbury who rounded their score up to nine at the finish.

Rowde Youth got off the mark with a home win against AFC Corsham. Andrew Cook put Rowde ahead before goals from Anthony Butler-Scrace and Tim Roberts took the score to 3-0 at the interval. Corsham denied Rowde further goals but failed to capitalise on their chances to see the game end at 3-0.

Under 15s Blue Division

CHIPPENHAM Town Youth and visitors Salisbury City found it difficult to control the ball in very windy conditions.

Declan Flood and Liam Brown both scored for the home side in the first half, taking a 2-1 lead at the break. After the interval both sides battled on but outstanding performances from both defences denied each other further goal scoring opportunities seeing the final score at 2-1.

Under 15s Red Division

RYAN Stockley put Calne Town Youth 1-0 up at the interval in their home game against Trowbridge Wanderers.

Sam Young brought the game level after the break but a late goal from Freddie Paget secured the victory for Calne.

The spectators at the game between home side Marlborough Town and Melksham Park enjoyed a very thrilling and entertaining end to end game which saw Melksham take a half-time lead of 3-2.

Marlborough brought the game level before going on to finish 6-4 winners.

Declan Burns (3), John Chipping, Ollie Roebuck and Mike Robinson scored for Marlborough.

Under 13s Red Division

CONNER Fathers put Devizes Town Youth 1-0 up at the break against visitors Worton and Cheverell.

Kieran Chivers scored early in the second half to double the lead before a shot from Jake Roberts direct from a corner made it 3-0. Worton kept their heads up and were rewarded with a goal before Jack Hopper put the game out of Worton's reach at 4-1. Worton battled on to finish the game at 4-2.

Under 12s Green Division

THE two unbeaten sides, Chippenham Town Youth and Calne Town Youth, went head to head in a hard fought contest.

Chippenham had two goals disallowed but kept up the pressure and took a lead of 3-2 into the final minutes. Calne were awarded a penalty which went past the outside of the post for Chippenham to remain unbeaten. Oliver Webb, Richard Bray and Daniel Payne scored for Chippenham.

Under 10s Blue Division

A GREAT team performance saw leaders Castle Combe Colts retain the top slot by running out 3-0 winners at home to Calne Town Youth with goals from Charlie Austin (2) and Chris Baker.

Under 10s Green Division

AFC CORSHAM Leopards took a 2-1 half-time lead in their game at FC Chippenham.

After the break the home side took control, scoring a further three goals with one reply to finish 4-3 winners. N Manifold and Steve Hayes (3) scored for Chippenham.

Under 10s Red Division

WESTBURY Youth continued to command this division following their 6-1 away win against Malmesbury Youth.

Nathan McCafferty, Jonathan Manners (2), Ashley Hargreaves and Luke Ross (2) scored for Westbury, with William Winterbourne replying for Malmesbury.

Under 10s Yellow Division

MELKSHAM Park Gold played host to Castle Combe Colts with the visitors taking a 2-0 lead at the break with both goals from Ryan Ross.

After the interval Melksham quickly brought the game level, with goals from Ross Challice and Laurence Goddard.

Toby Mott and John Hoslett played well in defence and prevented Castle Combe from scoring.

Ross scored his second to finish the game at 3-2 to Melksham Park.

Worton and Cheverell took a 1-0 lead at the break in their home game against Warminster Higbury. The game continued at an even pace in the second half with both sides netting two apiece to end the game at 3-2 to Worton. Ben Perrett (2) and Josh Gabb scored for Worton.

Under Nines Blue Division

A BOTTOM of the table clash produced a strong display of commitment from both Trowbridge Wanderers and Castle Combe Colts.

Sam Hall got an early goal for Combe but Trowbridge fought back with great determination, hitting the post three times.

FC Chippenham remain top after running out 2-0 winners away to AFC Corsham Jaguars. Cameron Fisher and Cory Minney scored for Chippenham.

Chippenham Town Youth and visitors Devizes Town Youth provided an excellent end to end game of football which saw both sides take a point from a 0-0 final score.

Under Nines Green Division

TROWBRIDGE Town Youth remain three points clear at the top following their 6-1 away win against FC Chippenham.

Ashley Rendall, Jamie Mortimer (2),Oliver Nash, Tom Oakley and Kia Mead scored for Trowbridge, with Tom Bunce replying for Chippenham.

Nick Newth (2), Ryan Banks and Jemima Letheren scored for White Horse Juniors Sparks in their 4-1 away win against Bradford on Avon.

Under Nines Red Division

DOMINIC Staples-Preston scored four of Chippenham Town Rangers' goals in their 7-2 away win against local rivals FC Chippenham Youth.

Rangers' other goals came from Alex James (2) and Callum Hussey, with Joseph Owens and Robert Preece replying for FC.

Under Nines Yellow Division

IN a top of the table clash, leaders White Horse Juniors Sports played host to Worton and Cheverell.

The home side took the lead through a well taken goal from Shane Hedges. Will Davis equalised before the interval. After the break both sides pushed for the winner but both defences held out and the game ended at 1-1.

AFC Corsham Leopards ran out 4-0 winners away to Castle Combe Colts, with goals from Callum Johnston (2), Max Stanton and Aaron Ward-Babtiste.
