LIKE many parents with links to St John's School we were amazed to learn last week that the head teacher had frittered £11,000 on a promotional DVD.
What a waste! Especially since hardly anyone is opposed to the concept of the single site school.
Dr Hazlewood should be focussing on meeting the objections raised by the town council and should have spent the money on more materials for classroom teaching or repairing the netball and tennis courts.
