CHIPPENHAM NEWS: CORSHAM town councillors are concerned about a youth racing around on a motorised scooter in the town.

Cllr Roy Jackson said at a meeting on Monday: "Yesterday afternoon there was a youth racing around on a motorised scooter.

"I live in the Tynings and I could see him racing up and down like nobody's business."

The mystery scooter rider has been spotted by many of the town councillors.

Chairman Jock Fraser said: "He goes around all over the place, often with friends on the back."

Cllr Jeanne Doohan said: "You can hear those things coming from quite a long way away because they haven't got silencers on them."
