A 39-YEAR-OLD man from Trowbridge pleaded guilty to possessing heroin at Chippenham Magistrates' Court on Friday.
Stephen Verrall, 39, of Duke Street, was found in possession of the drug on Thursday.
Verrall said he used it for personal use to relieve the constant pain from an accident.
He will be sentenced at Bath Magistrates' Court, where he is due to be sentenced for other offences at a later date. Until then Verrall has been released from custody on bail and must live and sleep at home, and report to Trowbridge police daily.
