A MAN accused of breaking into an elderly woman's house and stealing her handbag from her bedside while she slept has had his case sent to Swindon Crown Court.
Mark Thirkettle, 31, of no fixed address, is alleged to have entered the 82-year-old's home and stolen cash and alcohol.
He is also accused of causing £1,089 worth of damage.
He is due to appear in court again on Monday.
