FORMER Home Secretary Jack Straw and his successor David Blunkett are largely responsible for the rise in violent crime which is sweeping the country.
A responsible immigration policy rigidly enforced as in most other countries would have prevented the arrival of these gangster elements who are bringing terror to urban areas.
The large influx of illegal immigrants should have been prevented and a national identify card scheme introduced long ago.
