BEEFCAKE Neil Cole is hoping to become the country's hottest surf hunk. The 18-year-old shop assistant has made it through to the national finals of the Walkabout bar's Beach Babes and Surf Dudes contest.
Having got through the South West regional heats held in Swindon, Neil is off to London for the national finals on October 21.
If successful, Neil who works in the Just Add Water surf shop in the Brunel Centre will win a crate of Smirnoff Ice every month for a year.
With his shaggy mop of blond hair, the 6ft teenager from Ferndale, admits he fits into the surfing stereotype.
"I love surfing and I also do snowboarding, he said.
"I was quite surprised with the judges' decision as I just went on stage and danced around."
A total of six guys and six girls from the South West will take part in the final.
