UK businesses are backing a campaign for an additional New Year bank holiday, according to a survey by business advice and support firm Croner Consulting.
Of businesses polled on www.croner.co.uk 72 per cent said that adding an extra bank holiday to the beginning of the calendar year would enhance the productivity and morale of their employees.
