THE digital TV revolution has unleashed so many new channels that it is feared the explosion in choice will spark all-out family war this festive season.
Worries that the fight for the remote will be more aggressive than ever were revealed in the findings of a YouGov poll commissioned as part of the Government's Digital Awareness Campaign.
However, help is at hand from psychologist Donna Dawson, who devised a survival plan to ensure everyone is happy.
She said: "Everyone in the family needs to have a say in the TV-viewing schedules.
"Choose one programme you really don't want to miss.
" And remember if any programmes clash they may be repeated," she said.
Thirteen million homes in the UK are expected to experience a 'multi channel' festive break during the holidays.
