THERE are a number of countries that have applied to join the European Union including Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Turkey and Morocco.
We have a three party system and all three parties support continued expansion of the EU.
Even though the EU has recently increased to 25 countries none of the three main political parties are voicing any opposition to this further expansion.
