CHIPPENHAM NEWS: THE owners of a china, glass and collectables shop are pledging to carry on despite last week's £40,000 raid.
Burglars broke into The China, Bowl in Market Place, Chippenham, in the early hours of last Tuesday morning, stealing thousands of pounds of china, porcelain and pottery.
Owners Mark and Gillian Goodman have welcomed support from the community and are installing extra security.
Mrs Goodman said: "We have restocked the shelves, people are surprised how much we still have.
"Some customers have come in with flowers which was very nice.
"We are taking quotes from a local security firm to update our alarms."
The couple have managed The China Bowl for the past three years and say their experience has not put them off Chippenham.
