BRADFORD Town have taken over at the top of the Premier Division following their 2-1 victory over visitors AFC Stratton.

The home side took the lead from a penalty after 15 minutes when defender Mike Little was pushed in the area and Tom Pang scored from the spot.

Stev e Roddy added a second to give Bradford a healthy lead at the break.

In a much closer second half a strong cross was sliced into his own net by Bradford defender Mark Robinson to put Stratton back into the game but an equaliser didn't arrive.

New College's 2-1 defeat at Bromham could have ruined their title chances.

In a tight first 45 minutes a header from Bromham skipper Tom Paget was all that separated the sides at the break.

Bromham added a second from a disputed penalty soon after the start of the second half, the home side's young striker Tom Slater was adjudged to have been given a shove in the penalty area and Paget stepped up to convert the spot kick.
