A man has been charged with assisting an offender over the deaths of a former policeman and his wife.
The 21-year-old local man is due to appear at North Wilts Magistrates' Court in Chippenham on March 10.
The bodies of Milroy (pictured) and Joan Clarke, aged 70 and 55, were found at their house in Melksham, last December.
Their son Michael Clarke has been charged with their murder.
Mr Clarke served in Swindon CID in the 1970s. He left the profession on medical grounds and became a traffic warden in Devizes.
