A 36-YEAR-OLD man from Lyneham has appeared before magistrates on child porn charges.
Stephen Brooks, of Bakersfield, is said to have downloaded the material between April 1999 and August 2000.
He also stands accused of possessing an indecent photograph of a child.
Brooks spoke only to confirm his name, age and address at the brief hearing.
No plea was entered.
His case will be back before the courts on March 11.
