THE household waste recycling centre at Waterside Park, Darby Close, opens for an additional two hours daily from today.
This is an extension to the normal summer hours.
The centre will open 8am to 6.30pm.
Coun Justin Tomlinson, pictured, lead member for social services, said: "This is great news, it will allow residents extra time to take their recyclable waste and other household waste to the centre prior to the Easter weekend, which is always very busy."
