A PAIR of young thugs who attacked another youth have been remanded in custody by a judge at Swindon crown court.
Phillip Robertson, 22, and Jason Bristow, 18, have been told to expect significant jail terms for the incident which took place a week before Christmas.
The two men pleaded guilty to assaulting victim Malcolm Robinson causing actual bodily harm.
Robertson, of Beech Avenue, Pinehurst and Bristow, of Osborne Street, Gorse Hill, denied a count of false imprisonment.
The court heard that despite their ages both youths have long histories of offending for robbery and violence.
Judge Tom Longbotham adjourned the case to Friday April 8 so pre-sentence reports can be prepared on the men.
