A WILTSHIRE man is among 31 suspected football hooligans arrested as part of a nationwide sweep.
The men were questioned over violence which erupted after the England versus Wales World Cup qualifier in Manchester in October last year.
Neither Greater Manchester or Wiltshire police were able to say where the Wiltshire man was from.
Yesterday's arrests involved eight forces, and came days before England's World Cup qualifier with Northern Ireland at Old Trafford at the weekend.
