A SECOND World War veteran who was imprisoned in Colditz is shunning a new ITV drama about life in the notorious Nazi prison camp.
Bill Goldfinch (88) has accused the programme makers of "messing with history" in the prime-time, two-part series, Colditz, which starts on Easter Sunday.
The Farley pensioner, who is one of about 30 surviving Colditz prisoners, is refusing to watch the drama, after the association of Colditz PoWs branded the programme a "travesty of the truth".
