WOOTTON Bassett Mayor Susan Cooksley's charity ball raised more than £700.
The ball was held at the Wiltshire Golf and Country Club on Friday.
Coun Cooksley, right, said: "It was a fine evening and I'm delighted with the amount raised."
The money is to be handed over the mayor's chosen charity, the Arthritis Research Campaign.
