All attempts that have been made to point out that there are better sites in Swindon to build a new university have been ignored. Even the report by Alan Hayward for Swindon Civic Trust was ignored. This is a dialogue of the deaf.
I have held the view for a long while that Bath University are not interested in Swindon. They have run out of green field sites in Bath and looked for the next nearest green field site and this was at Coate.
We should work with Oxford Brookes University who are interested in building on a brown field site in Swindon.
We have over 17,000 signatures saying no to Bath University and this figure is growing.
