Trowbridge rugby club held its annual mini section awards. This year has been a great success with the club having over 140 children registered from 4-12 years of age.

The club is only one of a few in the country running a section for the 4-6 years of age.

The club has moved forward to take on larger more established clubs in tournaments at Bristol St Mary's and The IOW.

The achievements this year include the under 7s winning the Melksham festival and winning the plate competition at Bristol and the IOW. The under 8s coming runners up at Melksham. The under 9s were runner's up at Melksham. The under 10s runners up at Melksham and the IOW. The under 11s runners up in the I.O.W and winning the Melksham festival. The session for the under 11s was topped of with them winning the Wiltshire Cup competing against all the club in Wiltshire.

Presentations were completed by the under 12 section making a special award to India Maclean, who has been part of the team since she was 5 years old. As the team move up to the youth section India will move over to the Lady's section of the club.

Charles Taylor, Kane Reed, Ethan Povey, Peter Laverick, Daniel Horne and Chris Batchelor. Most improved players: Ben Shaw, Thomas Letchford, Casey Jones, Lucy Mercer, Taylor Johnstone and Alistair McLean. The Little Rugger's awards: William Johnson, James Thompson, Max Ralph.
