Triple success - Hannah, Georgina and ClareA TRIO of Swindon dancers has come second place in a national dancing competition.

The three 15-year-olds, Hannah Farrow, Georgina Marsh and Clare O'Donogue performed a Romanian dance in traditional costume for the All England Dance Competition national finals when they appeared in the capital.

They won second place beating dance groups from across the country at the finals in London's Peacock Theatre.

The three girls are pupils of the Judith Hockaday School of Dance and Drama in Old Town where they have studied for many years.

Proud dad John Farrow, 42, an engineer of Abbey Meads, said: "I'm very proud indeed of my Hannah and her friends.

"They only had once chance to impress the judges in the final and they obviously did a very good job.

"Hannah has been dancing since she was four-years-old and she will be auditioning for dance school this time next year when she has finished her GCSEs.

"She hopes to become a professional dancer one day."

And it seems that dancing is a family affair for the Farrows. Her brother Liam, 11 and sister, Kirsty-Anne, 17 are both avid performers too.

John, who is married to Gail, 40, an occupational health manager, said: "I think it's something that runs in the family.

"They all love to perform and have been doing dancing since they were children."
