Fairford beat the weather and Frampton as they notched up a victory in Readers Gloucestershire Division One.
The weather was threatening and the visitors looked to be far from enthusiastic as they spiralled to 18-3.
Ed Bird continued to reap rewards and after taking 3-33 in 12 overs, the rain came and forced the players off.
After play resumed, Clarke (2-29) and Newport (2-30) and Jones(2-31) reduced the visitors to 125-9, Peacey with a valuable unbeaten knock of 33.
Fairford themselves slipped to 19-2 in reply before Townsend (62), and later Bullock (21 not out) saw them to victory and further progress up the league table.
