Purton continue to set the pace in the Under 11 Blue Division of the Wiltshire Youth League aftera 51-run victory at Shrivenham.

Callum Wright (64 not out) and Craig Miles (28) helped Purton to 115-3 in their 20 overs, Daniel Newton with 2-19 for Shrivenham. Wright then took 3-7 as Shrivenham were restricted to 62-7 with Tom Swann (17) top scoring.

An undefeated innings of 53 from opener Miles McLoud saw Swindon through to an eight-wicket victory over Malmesbury with seven overs to spare.

Earlier, Malmesbury scored 84-7 with Jack Roberts (31 not out) top scoring. Cameron Baden (3-12) and Arron Leyhal (2-14) were among the wickets.

In the Under 11 Red Division, South Wilts clinched a 40-run win over Calne.

Ali Javed took both wickets as South Wilts reached an imposing 130-2, and Haines scored a defiant 68 not out in their 90-5.

In an exciting finish elsewhere, Cannings gained a narrow three-run victory over Corsham.

Tom Alsop (30) and Matthew Lever (25) provided the backbone to the Cannings' innings of 89-7, Hugo Hudson-Wall (2-4) and Jack Beazer (2-15) taking the wickets.

Michael Clubbe (34) led the Corsham reply but they fell just short on 86-8, Price (3-7) the main wicket-taker.

At under 15 level, Chippenham reduced Westbury to 111 all out, withcaptain Zurain Qureshi (3-32), Uzi Qureshi (2-7) and David Brown (2-10) among the wickets.

They overhauled the target with eight wickets in hand, James Bull (29), Steve Bullen (24 not out) and Marcus Brown (32 not out) the main contributors.

An outstanding all-round display from Owen Alsop was the inspiration for Cannings' 122-run win at Wootton Bassett.

Nathan Jones (28), James Page (22), Neil Clark (29) and Luke Rapson (37) gave the Cannings' innings a solid foundation before Alsop (73 not out) took the visitors to a commanding 230-6.

Tom Davies took 2-39 and Aaron Stevens 2-42 for Bassett.

Alsop then shone with the ball, taking 5-18 in seven overs as Bassett went for 108. Alsop was supported by Jones (2-21) and Page (2-15), while Craig Kelly (27) and Aaron Stevens (21) were the leading scorers.

Ben McGowan (20) offered the only resistance in Devizes' 93 as they chased leaders South Wilts' 256-1.
