At the Bradon Forest summer school are, Freya Skerten and Seran Somal Picture Ref: 78692-191PUPILS at Bradon Forest School have been making their own clothes, foraging for food and building campfires.
Gifted and talented youngsters in years 6 and 7 have been taking part in a two-week summer school learning about technology and its evolution.
They have looked at everything from discoveries from 200 years ago, right up to recent technology like the internet.
The event was organised by Chris Thomas and Andy Parks.
Staff from the school has also helped out by helping to plan and run sessions.
Mr Thomas said: "They all really seem to be enjoying it."
Rosanne Fish, 12, who attends the school said: "It is really good. I like doing the web pages the best.
"Today we are making our own clothes, it takes a long time but it is good fun."
Later this week the children are making rockets from bottles and life-size jigsaws from wood.
