MOST people like their job, but feel indifferent to the success of their firm, research showed today.
A survey of 15,000 adults showed that almost nine out of 10 enjoyed their work and got on with colleagues.
Three out of four believed their job made good use of their skills and abilities, and that they were doing something worthwhile.
But a third of those questioned by consultancy firm ISR said they were not "engaged" at work and felt indifferent to their employers' success.
British workers were ranked seventh out of the world's 10 largest economies for their level of interest in helping companies succeed.
