THE Five Bells pub will be hosting a beer festival to coincide with the town's High Street Festival on Sunday.
The cheer starts at noon and will run until closing time at 10.30pm, giving locals and visitors plenty of time to taste the 15 guest ales and ciders that will be on offer.
Becci Cole, landlady of the thatched pub on Wood Street, said: "It's the third year we've done it and it will be free entry on the day. We've got quite a few guest ales in and it's normally great fun."
In addition to the frothy pints there will be a barbecue and live music from local band Roundabout and jazz band Ruth Hammond and Co.
Mrs Cole said: "From past experience it will be a great day and we're keeping our fingers crossed that the weather will stay dry.
"In previous years we've had quite a few people not quite managing to get to work on the Monday due to slightly sore heads."
