DERRY Hill United coach Peter Weston will be quizzing England boss ven-Goran Eriksson on the tricky left side probelm when he spends a day with him and his coaching team next week.

Weston, 45, was offered the opportunity after being entered into a competition by his club.

His club colleagues and players had to rate him as a coach and write about him.

Weston, from Pewsham, was then lpicked for the dream trip to Bisham Abbey in Buckinghamshire.

The coach said the prize came as a shock to him.

"I was very surprised, very pleased and very honoured to be picked to represent this club and then be chosen to travel to Bisham Abbey.

"It will hopefully be a great experience to train with and learn from the England coaches," he said.

Weston will be put through his paces by the England coaches before a meal with Eriksson and his colleagues.

He and the other 49 competition winners will then sit down for a question and answer session with the England manager.

"I don't know what I am going to ask him at the moment. The only thing I can think of is how will you solve England's left midfield problem?

"I will try to think of something that will help me more by the time I go as it is really a day for us to learn," said the coach.

"We are going to be treated like the kids in training and be asked to run around.

"I think we all have to be pretty fit but it will be good because we can learn things to teach our teams when we get back."

Weston said he hoped to be able to represent the club he has been at since its formation well and learn new techniques to pass onto the other coaches.

"We have only been formed for four years but already we have charter status which is not terribly common yet.

"I am looking forward to the trip immensely and I think it is something that will benefit the club."
