A TEENAGER was attacked and needed treatment in hospital after he refused to hand over his pizza to a gang of youths in Marlborough.
The attack occurred in Angel Yard, the road connecting the High Street with Kennet Place, at about 10.30pm on Wednesday last week.
The unnamed 15-year-old had been to the ASK restaurant in the High Street and was walking home eating his pizza when a gang of about eight to nine similar aged youths asked him to share it with them.
Police said he refused and there was a chase which ended up with him being assaulted and his pizza being stolen from him.
The teenager was taken to hospital with a cut thumb, grazed knees and knuckles and a bruised forehead.
Police said they learned that only two of the group of youths had allegedly attacked the 15 year old.
Both were arrested on Thursday and are being questioned by officers.
They face possible prosecution for assault and theft.
