WILTSHIRE Wildlife Trust is replanting the banks of the River Ray with plants form the nearby meadows.
Jo Sayers from the trust has asked for volunteers who would like to get involved with seed collection from the Rivermead meadow to contact her.
They want to hear from anyone with room in greenhouses to nurture the plants and grow them ready for planting in the autumn or early next spring.
Jo said: "I am happy to buy the seed trays and compost if anyone would like to try out this gardening with nature idea and get involved."
The plan is to carry out an initial seed collection on Monday, August 8. at Rivermead at 5pm.
Rivermead is the area just downstream of the raised cycle bridge at the end of Barnfield Road.
Anyone who would like to get involved can call Jo on 01793 526229.
