SOMEWHERE not too far from Wootton Bassett there could be a cricket pitch with 22 players ready to play up and play the game, but no equipment to play with.
On Tuesday morning a blue holdall was found near the Tinkers Lane surgery, containing a bat, two balls, a set of stumps and some pads.
A police spokesman said: "Anyone who has genuinely lost their cricket kit at that location should please make contact so that they can again partake in their favourite pastime."
