My sister Jacky and I are off to India on September 9 for one month to visit the village of Burlavaripalem, Andhra Pradesh where the Elizabeth-Ann Trust Fund is raising money for a Loo Project to raise money for 100 loos (each loo costs £74).

I would like to thank your readers from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful support they have given this project throughout this year and especially for the Bring and Buy Sale held at Whitehaven on June 10/11.

Enormous thanks go to Brenda of the Hanover Housing Association, in Chippenham, who on seeing the article written in the Wiltshire Times wanted to help and so organised a second Bring and Buy in their offices with the help of the staff there and this has boosted the amount raised to nearly £3,000, which is enough money to construct 37 more loos (only 13 more loos to reach the goal of 100).

Special thanks to Ted of T&A Motors, Bill Dolman, John Glasbrook, Simon Green and Richard Aylward for their generous contributions and a big thank you to Angela Kent, Lorraine Brooks, David Bryant and Nathan Gibbons who helped at the Bring and Buy.

If any readers would like to attend a talk with a short video entitled Imagine Life Without A Loo, you can email me at: mcadavies@aol.com.
