Picture Ref: 78725-3IT was music to Lauren Davidge's ears when she was told that she was to receive an Apple iPod from a Swindon Advertiser competition.
In fact it was Lauren's mum Karen who won the prize, but kindly passed it on to her daughter.
And the 13-year-old from Upper Stratton, is overjoyed with the hi-tech gadget.
"It is good because you can store loads of songs on it," she said.
"My friends all think that it is really cool."
The iPod, which can be taken anywhere, can store around 5,000 songs.
The Kingsdown school pupil plans to fill it with R'n'B tracks from artists like Usher, and her favourite band, Keane.
She said: "I like Keane because their music is really different and is not all the same like pop bands."
