PLEASE could I say a big thank you to Swindon Council and the Mela Committee for the wonderful day out at the Town Gardens.
My granddaughters and I have been coming to this event since it began and have really enjoyed the mix of India and England.
This year I did not think there were as many Asian people but a lot more English.
Why I say this, is because I love looking at the ladies saris and there were not many about, also where was Amnesty International and Oxfam?
