WE live in the block of flats where the recent fatal motorcycle accident happened, and saw the devastation of the accident.
It was one of the most horrific sights I have ever seen.
I can't help thinking that the council may be partly to blame! Why don't the traffic lights work? From experience I know the visibility is terrible at Whitehose Bridge when you are waiting to pull out at the junction. Sometimes you have to pull across the road to see what's coming under the bridge!
I am surprised that since moving in in October that nothing has happened before this. There is one meagre temporary skid warning sign.
What about temporary lights? I think it is disgusting that it has taken a man's life for anyone to realise that maybe it is quite dangerous. Mr Gibbs has lost his life and it very probably could have been prevented.
