Swindon Wildcats, in association with Heart FM, have announced that children will be allowed free entry to their game at home to Milton Keynes tomorrow.

With the Wildcats confident of a turn round in form, and with the Lightening going great guns this is sure to be an explosive game not to be missed.

Faceoff for the game is 7.30pm, with the Wildcats looking to add to the already family friendly atmosphere at the Link Centre by encouraging Kids to come along to the game during half term game for free when accompanied by their parents.

To qualify, children must be 15 or under and accompanied by a paying adult. Only one chield per paying adult will get in free.

The Lightning have only lost twice so far this season, a shock 8-2 reverse against Slough a fortnight ago and then last weekend going down 4-2 to the Sheffield Scimitars. Unbeaten on the road, however, the Wildcats will have their work cut out for them in Wednesday night's fixture.

There's reason for optimism in the Wildcats camp, however, as the team overcame controversy to come back from 5-2 down in Peterborough on Sunday to tie in regulation.

A nasty hit from behind could so easily have ended D-man Wayne Fiddes' season and a disallowed goal that should have stood very, combined with a couple of lapses of concentration nearly cost the 'Cats both points. Determination and persistence paid off, though, and the bonus point was decided by a shootout lottery.

Milton Keynes bring with them former Wildcats Michael Farn and Adam Brittle, as well as foreign talent in Smulter, Kalgoum, Poole and Zatopek. The netminding duo of Mettam and Hollyhead rank amongst the stingiest of the competition with the pair of them posting over 93 per cent save averages.
