Children in Aldbourne came face to face with a friendly dragon at the opening of the summer reading challenge at their library.
Youngsters aged four to 11 who read six books will receive a medal and certificate – for breaching the Dragon’s Lair.
Joanne Hutchings said: “The challenge goes on through the summer and children can choose books from any Wiltshire library and return them when it’s convenient for them.”
