Marshfield Junior U10s, who play their football in the Purple Division (Division Three) of the Mid Wiltshire U10's played FC Chippenham Youth in the semi-final of the cup on Sunday.
With Chippenham residing two divisions above Marshfield they knew it was going to be a tough game but started out very strong and forced a couple of saves from the keeper.
Shortly afterwards Marshfield won a penalty after a handball by their defender in the area and this resulted in a shot by Marshfield captain Sam Ryan being saved.
It was an end to end game and both teams struggled a bit with the small pitch and clearly now look ready for the 11 aside of the under 11's.
The Chippenham break through came from a well hit shot from on the edge of the area which deflected into the top corner past the in-form Harry Heap in goal for Marshfield.
Marshfield battled hard and the rest of the game was very much about midfield superiority, but ultimately Chippenham held on for the victory.
