Devizes mum Fiona Stenhouse is appealing for the return of her seven-year-old son Benjamin’s pride and joy, his black mountain bike.
The bike was taken from behind the family home in Le Marchant Close at about 5pm last Wednesday and young Benjamin, a pupil at Bishops Cannings Primary School, is distraught about it.
Mrs Stenhouse said: “It is not a valuable bike but it meant the world to Benjamin. He is quite a sensitive boy and the loss of the bike has hit him quite hard.
“I know he shouldn’t have left his bike where he did, but I think he’s learned his lesson now.”
“We are appealing to the better nature of whoever took it to return the bike.”
Anyone with knowledge of the whereabouts of Benjamin’s bike should ring the Gazette on (01380) 731692.
