I don't wish to be rude about "one of pop music's most enduring and successful singer-songwriters" but the way people on the radio are banging on about him, you'd think that ND was at the cutting edge of hip. Or perhaps I've just got old and am listening to dull radio programmes. And I feel even older becuase my eldest is 20 today. Happy Birthday, CJ.
