Distraught dog owner Elizabeth Rhodes is appealing for information on her lost beloved German short haired pointer pedigree.
Nine-year-old Dottie disapeared while Ms Rhodes was walking her on Chittoe Heath, Sandy Lane, near Bromham, on September 11 at around 10am.
Ms Rhodes, who has a six-year-old son Jordan, said: "We are absolutely distraught.
"Dottie was a part of our family and Jordan is finding it incredibly hard.
"I left him at the school gates in floods of tears this morning.
"It is like losing a child for us. We hope no one has stolen her and just hope someone has some information on where she is.
"Nobody has seen her and because she is pedigree we hope she has not been taken.
"It has been breaking our hearts the last two weeks.
"She is very active and has a great nature but she must be missing us now."
If anyone has seen Dottie please contact Ms Rhodes on 07989 499987.
