RAMBLERS are being offered the chance to try some new walks in the Wiltshire countryside during the 10th Corsham Walking Festival.

Booking for all of the 20 guided walks during the festival from Friday to Sunday, June 7-9 will open on Tuesday, April 2 and organisers say there will be “Something for Everyone”.

Last year, more than 250 people took part.

Corsham Walking Festival committee chairman Barry Cox said: “The programme allows all walkers to explore and discover this beautiful part of Wiltshire and South West England. Our walks vary in distance and go from easy through moderate to challenging.

“Our guided walks include ancient parishes and manor houses, our industrial and rural heritage, health and wellbeing, wildflowers and wildlife and, of course, our charming town and surrounding countryside with its hidden valleys, meandering brooks, and far-reaching views.

“As always, we will be offering some new walks. We have included some of the more favourite ones and have several experts to talk about specialist subjects en-route, as well as our experienced walk leaders and back markers to guide you."

Visit the organisers at the Corsham Eco Fair on Saturday, April 20 as the committee promotes ‘All Things Walking’.
