A rapidly expanding Wiltshire firm is moving to a newly renovated site as they look to increase their workforce.

Total Connections 2009 is a manufacturer of electrical terminals based at the Porte Marsh Industrial Estate, in Calne, and is now set to relocate to a new purpose-built manufacturing facility elsewhere on the industrial estate.

The firm currently employs 17 people and has grown from a micro business to a small business in recent years.

Bosses intend to increase this headcount further and are hopeful the larger premises will allow this.

Managing director Andy Sangster said: "We are very excited about this move, which marks a significant milestone in our company's history.

“The new facility will allow us to grow our business and enhance our service offering to our customers.

“We are confident that this move will benefit both our company and our customers in the long term."

The Wiltshire firm is a leading producer of electrical connectors, earthing equipment, and tooling.

Its relocation is set to be carried out in phases to minimise any disruption and is expected to be completed by 2024.

The new site is described as “state-of-the-art”, with greater levels of automation, and will offer more space and flexibility for the company’s storage needs.
