A group of youngsters suspected of stealing from a dairy shop near Marlborough have been caught on CCTV.
It follows a break-in at The Milk Yard at Warren Farm at approximately 9.30pm on Sunday, January 7. Thieves got away with £100 worth of fresh ice cream and eggs.
CCTV footage from the popular dairy shop shows one young person stopping to drink a pint of milk from a milk vending machine, while others filled crates with products.
The milk has not been reported as stolen, but the business owner says it could have been paid for in order to access the machine.
“We have received a report of the theft of eggs and ice cream from a business in Savernake, Marlborough, on the evening of January 7,” confirmed a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police.
“We are still in the early stages of our investigation.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact us via our website or on 101, quoting the crime reference number 54240003011.”
Speaking about the incident, Anne Homer, owner of The Milk Yard, added: “We are so thankful for the support we’ve received so far."
