The landlords of a newly reopened pub say they have been “overwhelmed” by the support of the community following a major refurbishment.

The Three Cups Inn, at The Triangle in Malmesbury, officially reopened on Monday, November 20, after months of renovations.

Works began around 10 weeks ago and were documented on the pub’s new social media pages.

Much of the town centre venue’s interior was stripped back before being redecorated in a lengthy project.

After a successful first week in business, landlords Janinka and Gary have thanked customers for flocking back to the newly reopened pub.

In a statement on Facebook, they said: “Just wow! What a load of wonderful folk you are. Thank you for coming out in droves to support our opening week.

“We are completely overwhelmed by your presence and kind words.”

Management added that they have been “inundated” with requests for food and will be announcing food options soon, with plans for the kitchen to be operational from December.

An array of events has already been lined up for the next month, including skittle Sundays, life drawing classes, craft events, and live music.
