The award-winning class for under-fives will be launching from September.

Drama Tots, first set up by children’s actress Leanna Jones in 2016, uses drama, music and movement to teach children about the world around them.

Just last year, Drama Tots was awarded the title of the UK’s most loved performing arts activity in the prestigious What’s On Kids awards.

Now Holly Darling, a teacher and mother of two from Malmesbury, is hoping to bring that same joy to Wiltshire.

“Following 16 years of teaching drama in schools, I am so delighted to be launching the new Drama Tots classes to the families of Wiltshire,” said Ms Darling.

“Classes are hugely popular throughout the UK and I am excited to be bringing them into my community.

“When children play make-believe, they are learning about themselves and the world around them, gaining confidence and testing their imagination,” she added.

Classes will take place from September across Chippenham, Malmesbury and Cirencester can get involved.

Each class is split into two categories to enable the sessions to be tailored to each child’s individual developmental needs, in line with the Early Year Foundations Stage Curriculum.

“We are certain that through Drama Tots children will build the foundations to be confident and creative. But most importantly, we want children in Wiltshire to smile, laugh and have fun,” Ms Darling said.
