SWINDON Town will take on Champions League opposition on their pre-season tour of Austria.
Turkish giants Fenerbahce and Romanian outfit Steaua Bucharest will be Maurice Malpas' side's opposition in what is shaping up to be a tough pre-season campaign.
Town, who return to training on Friday, are also set to play FC Zlin.
Town boss Malpas believes the matches will provide his players with a stern test ahead of the new season.
He said: "The motivation is there because we have games against quality opposition in pre-season, it is a testing line-up that's for sure.
"Austria will be a tremendous experience and we have first class facilities out there. It will provide the players with a great base from which to work.
"The organizers have called it a Champions League pre-season, and they aren't wrong. If I was a player then I would be desperate to play against teams who have Champions League experience."
